Privacy Policy

Performance Rhythm ("the app", "we") provides guided breathwork sessions, courses, and related wellbeing features to individuals and to employees of organizations that purchase access for their teams. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address and password (stored as a secure hash), and the display name you choose. If you join through an organization's invite code, your account is associated with that organization.
• Practice activity. Which sessions and courses you play and complete, minutes practiced, and streaks — used to show you your own progress.
• Wellbeing check-ins and surveys. Mood ratings and answers to optional in-app surveys. Answering is always voluntary.
• Administrator content uploads. Authorized content administrators may upload cover images, guided-session audio, and session video for publication in the app. Ordinary member accounts cannot upload photos, videos, or audio.
• Purchase status. Whether you have an active subscription. Individual subscriptions are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we never see or store your card details. Our subscription processor (RevenueCat) handles store purchase records on our behalf. Organization access is billed to the organization directly.

The app does not collect precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and it contains no third-party advertising.

How we use it

• To deliver the service: play content you are entitled to and track your progress.
• To show you your own practice history and wellbeing trends.
• To report engagement and wellbeing outcomes to organizations that sponsor access — in aggregate only (see below).

What your employer can and cannot see

If your access is sponsored by your organization, that organization receives aggregated, group-level reporting only — for example, overall participation rates or average wellbeing trends across the group. Your employer is never shown your individual sessions, survey answers, or any data identifying you personally. Individual detail is accessible only to the app's operator for support and service administration.

Sharing

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that run the app for us: Supabase (database, authentication, and file hosting), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google Play / Apple (store billing), Stripe (organization billing), and our email delivery provider (transactional email such as password resets). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access controls that enforce the visibility rules described above. We retain your data while your account exists.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app: More → Delete Account. This removes your profile, practice history, and survey answers.

If you cannot access the app, request deletion by emailing contact@performancerhythm.com from the email address on your Performance Rhythm account. Use the subject “Delete my Performance Rhythm account.” We will verify the request and delete the account and associated data within 30 days. Never include your password or payment details.

Deleting your Performance Rhythm account does not cancel a subscription billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Cancel that subscription separately in your store account's subscription settings to prevent future charges.

Not medical advice

Performance Rhythm offers breathing and wellbeing content for general wellness. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified health professional with any questions about a medical condition.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
